Osavi Norwegian Cod Liver Oil + D3 is a liquid food supplement derived from wild Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) sourced from sustainable fishing. This product provides a high concentration of essential omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A, and vitamin D to support the normal function of the immune system, heart, brain, and vision. The package contains 250 ml of liquid with a natural lemon flavour.
Each daily serving (one teaspoon, approx. 5 ml) provides 1000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, including 400 mg of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and 600 mg of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) in the highly absorbable triglyceride (TG) form. The body cannot produce these essential fatty acids in sufficient quantities, making dietary intake crucial. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The supplement also contains 270 µg of Vitamin A (34% NRV) and 50 µg (2000 IU) of Vitamin D (1000% NRV), which contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the maintenance of healthy bones and teeth.
The recommended daily dose is one teaspoon (approx. 5 ml). It is best taken with a meal to ensure optimal absorption. Shake the bottle well before use. After opening, the product should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 3 months.
